see you later, i reply
hoping this isn’t bye for good
but a minor delay in the next time i’ll see her
maybe if i hold my blink
she won’t be gone as long
i appreciate our connection, 
we seem to have a knack for feeling each other
until we reunite, 

i’ll feel her absence
