One of my good friends said
As if, for some reason, they were solely a loose thread
I remember the people I spend time with
Who make moments feel timeless
I remember the people who made me think
I recognize the people who stay well prepared
I appreciate the people who maintain good character
Occasionally I forget what breakfast was
Even what I had for lunch
But I always remember and appreciate the things people have done
